Manawa Winter Solstice Festival

from $120.00

❄️ Manawa Winter Solstice Festival ❄️

On Saturday, 27 June, we gather at Barnett Hall in Piha to honour the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — with a heart-centred day of movement, nature, creativity, and connection.

As the world slows and turns inward, winter invites us to do the same. This gathering is a space to warm the body, open the heart, and connect with community during the darkest time of the year.

We’ll begin with a Somatic Dance Journey, guided to help us gently land in our bodies and awaken our senses.

Throughout the day you’ll be invited to explore a range of experiences designed to nourish body and spirit:

Ecstatic Dance
Somatic Dance
Connection Workshop
Community Art
Forest Nature Walk through Piha’s beautiful surroundings
Kai & warm chai to keep us nourished and cosy

Between sessions, there will be time to wander down to Piha Beach, breathe the wild winter ocean air, and enjoy the beauty of nature around us.

As darkness settles, we’ll gather together to celebrate the turning point of the solstice — honouring the darkness while welcoming the slow return of the light.

Tickets are limited to 70 people to keep the space intimate, warm, and heart-centred.

📍 Barnett Hall, Piha – Auckland
📅 Saturday, 27 June
🎟 $120 – fully catered Early Bird

💗 Manawa

Manawa means heart — and our gatherings are spaces to return to yourself and connect with others in authenticity and care.

Through dance, movement, creativity, and storytelling, we create environments where people can soften, express, and be seen. These gatherings are about releasing what no longer serves you, grounding into the present moment, and experiencing the nourishment that comes from true human connection.

Here, wellness is not about perfection.
It’s about wholeness — living with an open heart.
